Sterling Silver Ring Settings

No. This hub is for sterling silver settings / semi-mounts. Center stones are not included unless a listing clearly says otherwise—confirm labeling and photos on each SKU.

On this sterling page, the center seat is blank unless the listing says otherwise. Many sterling semi-mounts still include accent stones, or white topaz accents called out on the listing. The catalog for unmodified ring settings without stones is the Ring Settings hub. This page is the .925 silver path.

Sterling silver (.925) is widely used for everyday jewelry settings, but wear and tarnish depend on alloy, design, and care. Softness and durability vary by piece—confirm the listing metal and care for that SKU rather than treating all silver settings as identical.

Required tools depend on the setting style (prong, bezel, and others) and whether you or a jeweler will set the stone. Many makers use basic setting tools and magnification; if you are unsure, have a jeweler set the stone after you confirm millimeter fit.

Yes—sterling silver semi-mount settings can be used for engagement-style builds when the listing matches your stone’s shape and millimeter size. Confirm metal, size, and whether a center stone is included on the product page. Karat gold options are linked from this page if you prefer a different metal.

Men’s sterling silver ring settings in this catalog are semi-mount / mounting styles for stones you choose when the listing supports that use. Match mm size and shape on the listing. For the broader men’s settings hub, see Men’s Ring Settings.

Most listings in this collection are settings without a center stone (semi-mount / mounting). Always read the product title and description—only assume a stone is included when the listing says so.

Use the millimeter size in the product title (for example RD 8x8mm or OV 10x8mm) and match it to your loose stone’s measured length and width. Carat weight alone is not a reliable fit guide.

Choose sterling silver when you want a .925 silver mounting and the listing metal matches your project. Choose 10K, 14K, or 18K gold when you need karat gold—use the metal collections linked on this page and verify karat on each listing.

Sterling silver is commonly marked .925 (about 92.5% silver). On this hub, treat that as the metal path for the mounting—and still confirm sterling / .925 (or the exact metal line) on each listing, because filters and titles can differ from the SKU metal field.

Yes—these are semi-mount / settings-without-stones paths when the listing is a blank seat. Match shape + mm to your stone, confirm sterling on the product, then have a jeweler set the stone.

If you specifically need gold karat, use the 10K / 14K / 18K ring settings hubs instead.
