A princess ring setting without stones is a blank semi-mount with a square or near-square center seat. You (or your jeweler) add the center stone later—confirm millimeters and metal on each listing.

Use this checklist before you order a stock SKU or switch to Design Lab.

1. Confirm the listing is a setting / semi-mount (center stone not included unless the page says otherwise).
2. Match square or princess millimeters on the product page—not carat alone.
3. Review corner/tip style in photos (V-prongs, extra corner prongs, bezel accents vary).
4. Confirm metal and any accent details already on the mount.
5. If no SKU fits, use Design Lab: https://www.syzjewelry.com/pages/designlab-custom-jewelry

Princess and cushion seats can both look “square-ish” from above, but princess mounts usually follow sharper square corners while cushion seats are softer with rounded corners (often labeled CU mm).

Finished engagement rings with center stones included are different from these semi-mount hubs. Match the seat outline and millimeters on the listing.
