A plain head lets the gem be the whole face. That suits a stone you already like at its real size, whether the listing is round, cushion, princess, oval, or emerald cut. A halo draws a border of small stones, so a modest center reads as a larger face without changing the millimeters of the seat. A bezel is the quieter frame. Metal rims the stone, the edge is covered, and there are no prong tips standing up around it. Open a listing that says bezel or full bezel when that is the build you want.
