I used a dark mystic topaz in the center for interest. Very fun and different ring. Came ready to set as usual. Dealing with Syzjewelry saves me time and money plus saves these old hands!
Since the mele stones are clear topaz, it made sense that I use a clear topaz pear shape center stone. The results perfectly compliments my faceting of the center stone. I could not ask for more attention to detail in setting and polishing. Setting my center stone was quick and easy with great results.

These are quite nice, with bezel settings for 6mm cabs. Be aware, however, that they are much smaller than anticipated. My wife couldn't fit them on and she is pretty small. So they are more child sized. Keeping that in mind, they are very nice.
